Following the successful implementation of its face-to-face interpreting service at Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust in December 2012, LanguageLine has been awarded contracts to supply interpreting services to both Aintree University Hospitals and the Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust.
Andrea Smith, Equality & Diversity Manager at Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen Hospitals NHS Trust commented; “We have been extremely impressed with the implementation process provided by LanguageLine. They have worked hard with our staff in the weeks leading up to the commencement of the service to ensure a seamless transition."
The new arrangements with both Aintree University Hospitals and Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust have been implemented to improve the quality of care for patients by ensuring that interpreting is provided in the most appropriate way for each individual patient. Cost savings will be achieved through a combination of reduced service rates and the implementation of LanguageLine’s proven and widely recognised face-to-face to telephone interpretation conversion programme.
Rachael Taylor, Operations Director at LanguageLine commented “Our unrivalled implementation and language resource teams provide our customers with a fantastic platform upon which to build a high quality interpretation service for their patients. Clients benefit from the vast amount of experience and support that our specialist teams provide through the duration of their contract with LanguageLine."
LanguageLine Solutions began providing both hospitals with face-to-face interpreting as of the 1st of April 2013. The contracts continue to build upon LanguageLine’s ever growing footprint as a language solutions provider for the North West of England.
Simon Yoxon-Grant, Sales and Marketing Director at LanguageLine Solutions said “To have secured a further two major contracts in the North West of England is a fantastic achievement for the company. It is a real testament to the hard work, determination and considered approach displayed by our implementation team to ensure that the staff at both Trusts have received appropriate training and that high quality, security-cleared interpreters have been recruited to do the job”.
