It has been reported in Lighting.co.uk that the awards, which took place at the London Hilton Park Lane, saw the attendance of more than 740 of the country’s leading lighting designers, manufacturers and architects. Amongst the award winners was Patrick Woodroffe, who picked up the Lighting Special Recognition Award for the London 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony as well as Morgan Sindall Professional Services who won the Low Carbon Award for their work at Manchester Airport Terminal 2. The prestigious Designer of The Year went to Florence Lam of Arup.
