You Can Do the Rubik’s Cube! will host the DC Area third annual ‘ You CAN Do the Rubik’s Cube” Competition where students in grades k-12 from schools all over the DC area will compete for the fastest time to solve 25 Rubik’s Cubes collectively.

The “You CAN Do The Rubik’s Cube” program is a community initiative that uses the world’s most famous puzzle as a math manipulative in classrooms and in afterschool programs, helping students learn such STEM concepts as perimeter, volume, area and algorithms and 21st Century skills like problem-solving, following directions, and perseverance. Teams form Virginia, Maryland and DC compete at the 3rd Annual Rubik’s Challenge.
