THINK Together to Host Elegant Farm-to Table Event Featuring Local chefs, Artisans, and Growers

The sustainable living event sponsored by Ralphs/Food4Less will support youth programs offered by the education nonprofit.

THINK Together ‘s “Nurturing Our Future: An Elegant Farm-to-table Event,” featuring several local chefs and artisans will be held at the historic Burrage Mansion in Redlands on Thursday, April 11 from 6 to 9 p.m.

The Farm-to-Table event is sponsored by Ralph's/Food4Less. Chefs Lee Burton and John Shrader from the Cooking Block and Chef Roberto Argentina from Farm Artisan Foods will be preparing food at the event. Also presenting dishes will be Kelly's Kupcakes, A la Minute Creamery, Luv Bugs Bakery, and Sugarbird Desserts. Local wineries like The Dregs Wine, State Street Winery, and J Hamilton Wines will be pouring beverages for attendees. Ritual Brewing will join in on the beverage options for attendees as well.

Tying into the event theme, Redlands Horticultural and Improvement Society will be a participant and will be demonstrating container gardening. Urban Growers of heirloom starter plants, produce and flowers, Rolling Hills Herbs will also be supporting the event by demonstrating urban farming practices. A San Bernardino County master gardener will also be in attendance to answer any gardening questions.

The funds raised from this event will help support THINK Together’s academic success in the Redlands, Rialto and Colton Unified School Districts, which consists of 39 schools with more than 80 students in attendance afterschool at each school site.
