Following its restructuring in late 2012, Atex (http://www.atex.com) announces a solid six-month period highlighted by growth in new customer orders, successful project go-lives, and a boost in signed contracts for the company’s SaaS hosting and managed services business.

Atex, a leading global supplier of Advertising, Audience and Content Management software, has added new marquee customers across its entire product portfolio. In the media industry, Atex Advertising deals were signed recently with the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, the Las Vegas Review-Journal, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Schurz Communications, Jaerebladet (Norway), iMediat (Finland), and Mediabolaget Västkusten (Sweden). Dial Global, America’s leading radio network, also selected Atex Advertising to manage its complete digital advertising business for 8,500 radio stations.

Atex Content Management deals were signed with several major news media and broadcasting companies, including DC Thomson (UK), Glacier Media (Canada), Series+ TV (Canada), Il Giornale Di Sicilia (Italy), Il Giornale di Brescia (Italy), and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.

In addition, Atex continues to open new vertical markets for its Web Content Management platform. The Denihan Hospitality Group in New York selected Atex Web CMS to power over 20 hotel and restaurant websites. Omnipress in Madison, Wisconsin, chose Atex Web CMS for its 200+ client websites catering to the seminar and tradeshow industry.

“We are obviously quite pleased and honored to add all these new logos to the Atex global customer base,” said Peter Marsh, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “The past two quarters are also notable for the large number of project launches we have successfully completed around the world.”

Project launches and new implementations on the Atex CMS platform include The Irish Times, Singapore Press Holdings, RDS Canada, Erdee Media (Netherlands), Il Tempo and Gruppo Editoriale L'Espresso (Italy), Haaretz (Israel), Stars and Stripes, Stockholm University, Fairfax Media in Australia and New Zealand, as well as Tagesspiegel, Magazin Deutschland and Teckbote in Germany. The Atex Advertising platform went live recently at the Santa Fe New Mexican, the Syracuse Post Standard, Agderposten (Norway), Mentor Media (Norway), Jyske Medier (Denmark), and Bauer Media Group (Australia). Also, the Atex Audience circulation and digital subscription system went live at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

“Completing the Atex success story in recent months is the dramatic uptake in our SaaS hosting and managed services offering, which has helped us increase our recurring revenues,” said Marsh. “Customers are extending their relationship with Atex by transitioning to a model where they entrust us to manage their hardware, software, applications and services, which enables their internal teams to focus on core competencies.” Recent Atex customers that have selected the Atex SaaS model include the Tampa Media Group, Sun Times Media and The McClatchy Company in the United States, and McPherson Media in Australia.
