The ability to respond to real-time sentiment and deepen relationships with guests, patrons and attendees at an event leads to higher customer satisfaction and new business opportunities.

Evzdrop, a location-based mobile app and Web platform that connects people to places in real time, has now partnered with more than 50 Chicago businesses since its September 2012 launch. Restaurants, hotels, retailers, theaters and other businesses on the network are using Evzdrop to engage and communicate in real time with customers who are inside their venue.

Using Evzdrop’s iPhone and Android app, users follow, or “eavesdrop” on, places and businesses to get an inside look at what’s happening through the exclusive perspective of people who are present and posting, or “Dropping” about their experience. These location-verified users post micro-reviews and share experiences with photos to ‘be heard’ outside of their social networks with those who share their common interest in a place. Businesses on the Evzdrop network can also issue their own unique Drops, respond to users’ Drops and comments in real time, and access valuable data and analytics through the Evzdrop business platform.

“Real-time customer engagement is something virtually every business is seeking to access right now,” said David Rush, Evzdrop’s co-founder and CEO. “The ability to respond to real-time sentiment and deepen relationships with guests, patrons and attendees at an event leads to higher customer satisfaction and new business opportunities.”

Evzdrop’s solution enables businesses to filter through the noise and social chatter to identify users whose feedback takes priority. Businesses on the network are instantly notified and given the opportunity to comment or clarify when a customer at their location issues a Drop.

"We use Evzdrop because it offers an effective way for us to manage and filter the overwhelming number of tweets and social media mentions we receive each day,” said Justin Saper, social media director for a division of Lettuce Entertain You restaurants. “I’ll respond quicker to a Drop, or Drop that has been tweeted, than just a tweet, as it’s a guest that is there in real time and deserves priority."

Evzdrop’s business platform also allows businesses to reach users with rewards or other communications through automated custom campaigns based on time of day, sentiment, gender and other criteria. The Evzdrop dashboard gives businesses the ability to directly message customers and filter information by demographic, sentiment and other information.

Businesses partnering with Evzdrop include Paris Club, Blue Man Group, dana hotel and spa, Epic Burger and Chicago Architecture Foundation.

Evzdrop is available for free in the iTunes App Store and on Google Play. For more information about using Evzdrop for your business, visit http://www.evzdrop.com/forBusiness or email info(at)evzdrop(dot)com.
