When we learn why and how to intentionally change our energy flow, then we experience less stress and illness and can support our western and alternative medical treatment better. These are ancient teachings that empower us for modern times.

Author and Qigong Master Mingtong Gu received his training in Qigong in China at the highly respected Zhineng Qigong Center, the largest Qigong medicine-less hospital in the world. Master Gu taps this experience and his own extensive Qigong teachings at retreats and workshops in the United States and internationally, for his book and cd “Empowered Healing.” This new book invites the reader to explore how to manage better health and joy, through simple, yet profound Qigong practices. “Empowered Healing” is a new release in Master Gu’s book series designed for individuals, wellness professionals and caregivers. The book also includes two audio cd’s with Master Gu’s recorded teachings, and is available in print and as an ebook at http://www.chicenter.com.

"Empowered Healing" explores the role of energy or Qi and provides the essential, yet simple Qigong practices that return the power for better health back to the individual. Readers will learn directly from Master Gu through his written and recorded teachings. “I wrote this book and selected these recorded teachings to provide a deeper look at the teachings about energy or Qi and the role of the individual as a leader in their own health.” Through the millennia, Qigong masters studied the energy that flows through and around our bodies in health, and in how it is blocked in disease, worry and aging. “When we learn why and how to intentionally change our energy flow, then we experience less stress and illness and can support our western and alternative medical treatment better. These are ancient teachings that empower us for modern times.” Master Gu adds. The book explores Wisdom Healing Qigong theory and techniques, and the key Qigong practices of Lachi and Fachi, which gather and direct Qi. Variations for deeper and advanced study are included.
