HomeLight (http://www.homelight.com), the free service that helps real estate agents source new business and showcase their skills, today announced the launch of new mapping feature that allows real estate buyers and sellers to refine their search by neighborhood to find the most qualified real estate agent to meet their specific needs. The new neighborhood mapping feature is now a part of HomeLight’s ultra-local interactive search and filtering process that leads consumers to a list of top real estate agents and their transaction history in a specific neighborhood. HomeLight now enables neighborhood boundary mapping in over 1,500 U.S. cities including San Francisco, Denver, St. Louis and others.

HomeLight offers detailed information on more than two million real estate agents in 34 markets including their personal profile and sales transaction history, and uses their transaction history in combination with information from their customer reviews in its proprietary ranking algorithm. The new HomeLight neighborhood mapping feature is powered by Maponics, the leading source of local, area-based data and information for businesses. Seven of the top 10 real estate websites utilize Maponics.
