Birmingham, AL (PRWEB) April 03, 2013
Lewis Communications won more advertising awards than any other agency in the District 7 Regional ADDY Awards competition. Lewis’ combined total of 28 winners, 15 Gold ADDY’s and 13 Silver ADDY’s, was top among competing ad agencies from five southeastern states; Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana.
Lewis’ 28 ADDY awards were spread across 12 different clients including Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Premier Health-Miami Valley Hospital, Tiffin Motorhomes, Good People Brewing Company, Bogue’s Restaurant and Alagasco.
Spencer Till, Executive Creative Director for Lewis was pleased with the Agency’s showing, “In an era where advertising can be crafted to "look" great, there is still a sensitivity among some judges to reward work that is compelling and truly tells a story. The consumer's attention has never been so valuable or difficult to hold. I personally love it, because advertising can no longer afford to be average anymore. This level of acclaim reaffirms we are telling stories worth sharing. I also want to applaud our clients who continually refuse to settle for average.”
Stephen Curry, Creative Director for Lewis also added, “"What I'm most proud of is that it wasn't just one creative team - every single copywriter, designer, and art director in our Nashville and Birmingham offices won at least one regional ADDY. I don't think many agencies in America can say that. And I think that says so much about the depth of talent we have here."
The American Advertising Federation (AAF) annually organizes ADDY Awards shows at the local, regional and national level. Gold ADDY winners at the regional level are automatically entered in the National ADDY’s, the AAF’s highest honor.
