Adaptive Curriculum (AC), a web-based concept mastery solution that strengthens math and science performance by helping students build a deep understanding of core concepts and skills, has been named a finalist in the 2013 CODiE Awards in the Best Virtual Learning Solution category. Sponsored by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the prestigious CODiE Awards have been recognizing product excellence for more than 27 years.
Adaptive Curriculum is one of seven finalists for the award for Best Virtual Learning Solution. Winners will be announced during a special awards dinner at the Ed Tech Industry Summit in San Francisco on May 6.
“We’re honored to be recognized by educators and administrators who are looking for virtual learning solutions that are making a difference for students with diverse learning styles and abilities, and for educators in diverse educational settings,” said Jim Bowler, CEO of Adaptive Curriculum. “Adaptive Curriculum easily adapts to any instructional setting, including traditional, virtual and home schools, to improve students’ concept mastery in math and science. It can be used for self-paced individualized instruction, small group or whole class instruction, or as a teacher presentation tool to give schools maximum flexibility. This recognition in the virtual learning category is extremely gratifying because it emphasizes our commitment to meeting students in the digital realm to be sure they are ready for the real world.”
The SIIA CODiE Awards are the industry's only peer-reviewed awards program. Educators and administrators conducted the first-round review of all education nominees and selected the CODiE Awards finalists. SIIA members will now vote on the finalist products. The scores from both rounds will be tabulated to select the winners.
