Become a KD Affiliate

Rather than KD trying to reach all these global customers who are already connected to local websites, it makes more sense to develop a collaborative, win-win relationship with a dedicated network of KD Affiliates.

Kilmann Diagnostics (KD) has introduced a new affiliate program in order to extend its reach around the globe. By becoming a KD Affiliate, e-learning organizations, consultants, mediators, and coaches can offer KD’s online courses on their website for a monthly 30% commission, with no applications fees or membership charges.

Currently, KD offers three recorded courses on conflict management, which make extensive use of the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI). KD also offers three recorded courses on change management, which include such topics as culture change, critical thinking, and team development. In addition, KD offers the Quantum Transformation Course, which provides an overview of all its online courses and assessment tools. Besides these separate courses, KD offers two course collections: The TKI Package (of the three courses on conflict management) and The Complete Program (of its entire series of online courses).

To become a KD Affiliate, it’s essential for an online university, corporate training program, consultant, mediator, or coach to have extensive experience in conflict management and/or change management. In addition, the potential affiliate must have a suitable platform for offering KD’s courses to his customers, which includes an attractive and functional website along with a well-defined market and customer base. And a KD Affiliate is also expected to have integrity, high professional standards, and genuine passion for helping his customers manage conflict and change.

Whether candidates meet these competency requirements is assessed by their responses on the online KD Affiliate Application and a thorough review of their website. Deciding whether an applicant has met the competency requirements is usually completed within 72 hours (unless additional information is needed). The successful applicant is then required to sign the KD License Agreement.

After both parties have signed the agreement, the affiliate is then authorized to design the relevant pages on his website with KD’s copyrighted text and images. The KD Affiliate also receives special links that create a unique portal between the two websites. Once those links have been activated, whenever a customer clicks on a course link on the affiliate’s website, he or she is immediately forwarded—through that unique portal—to the relevant KD course purchase page. When a purchase is made in this manner, both the amount of the sale and the commission are automatically recorded in the affiliate’s username account.

As soon as KD has approved how the affiliate has designed the relevant pages on his website, KD activates those special links. By logging in to his private account on KD’s website, the affiliate can monitor his daily sales and commissions. Before the tenth day of every month, the affiliate will receive the total commission from his previous months sales of all KD’s courses that were purchased through those special links.

Since KD is strictly an online business, it’s no surprise that the entire affiliate process—from first completing the KD Affiliate Application to later receiving those monthly commissions—is all handled online.
