NorthPointe Hospitality Management, LLC announces promotion of Linda Davis to Assistant General Manager of the Hilton Garden Inn – Albany, Ga.

Effective March 1st, 2013 Linda Davis has been promoted to the position of Assistant General Manager of the Hilton Garden Inn in Albany, Georgia. Ms. Davis has been with the property since its inaugural opening in August of 2005.

“Linda is the perfect example of hard work paying off,” states Greg Winey, owner and principal NorthPointe Hospitality Management, LLC. Linda began at the hotel as a desk clerk back in 2005 and has since held the positions of Sales Coordinator, HR Manager, Administrative Assistant and has assisted in each department as needed throughout the years. “We are delighted and honored to see Linda move into the next level of her career as nothing thrills us more as a company than to promote from within,” continued Winey.

Ms. Davis will be assisting in the oversight of the entire hotel operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Sales, Food & Beverage, Accounting and Human Resources and will assume the role of General Manager in the absence of the GM.

The Hilton Garden Inn Albany is a 122 room hotel with over 12,000 sq. ft. of meeting space and is considered the premiere conference center in the Albany area. The hotel has undergone extensive renovation to upgrade its lobby, meeting facilities and guest rooms. The hotel recently opened a new Starbuck’s adjacent to its lobby, upgraded its fitness center, installed 36” flat panel T.V.’s and new carpeting and color schemes for all guest rooms, and redesigned its existing bar toward a modern, upscale concept.
