Mashable Choice is an editorial selection that Mashable will apply to products, services and apps that the Mashable team would recommend to their community. The Mashable Choice program is overseen by Mashable editors. All Mashable Choice selections will be easily recognizable by a new specialized logo that will appear at the top of the product review and the product, service or app will have an option to display on their own site.
"The key to choosing the right products and services has always been through recommendations, and often from your most trusted friends,” said Lance Ulanoff , Editor in Chief, Mashable. “Mashable has always enjoyed a strong relationship with its community and now, with Mashable Choice, we can help them, and others who see the mark, in their selection process."
The Mashable Choice review will be held to the same standard as any other Mashable product review. After a product's review, a senior team of editors makes the final selection on if it will receive a Mashable Choice recommendation. Starting today, all reviews will go through the Mashable Choice process, if they are deemed to be a Mashable Choice recommendation, the specialized logo will appear with the review.
With Mashable’s announcement of this new program they have released their first Mashable Choice for BioShock Infinite, the new video game published by 2K Games.
