For people lucky enough to go on more than one holiday abroad a year, it makes sense to consider annual travel insurance rather than a single trip policy.
(PRWEB UK) 6 April 2013
Travellers who go on holiday abroad more than once a year could be making considerable savings by investing in annual travel insurance rather than multiple single trip policies.
The research from Sainsbury’s bank revealed that 29% of people had took multiple foreign holidays last year, but just one in three bought annual travel cover.
Figures from Consumer Intelligence found that single trip policies cost an average of £67.97 in October 2012, while a multi-trip policy cost £101.64. This means that people embarking on two foreign breaks in one year could have saved £34 with annual travel insurance, while those who went on four holidays abroad saved £170.

“For people lucky enough to go on more than one holiday abroad a year, it makes sense to consider annual travel insurance rather than a single trip policy. Even if you don’t plan on more than one holiday, it pays to be prepared and once you have the annual policy you won’t have to worry about finding another deal next time you go on holiday.”
