It has been reported in HVP that the app will transform the way gas inspections are carried out, allowing engineers to complete Gas Safety records, warning notices and electrical cross bonding records on the job and automatically email them to clients. Created by Joe Falcone and his daughter Bianca Dainty, the new app also comes alongside a secure online database, which will set 12 month inspection reminders and store completed certificates as well as details about clients and jobs.
The app is currently available for free on iPhone with versions for Android and iPad are expected to follow.
Famous for their Tottenham plumbers, We Fix now also provides a number of gas safe registered engineers, who are available to install, repair and maintain gas appliances throughout the home. As such, naturally the news was of interest to the team and a representative has shared their thoughts on the matter.
“Technology is constantly driving the plumbing business forward so it looks as though the new app may be successful. The pair obviously saw a gap in the market, so we’ll be interested to see how quickly it catches on, after all recent research from Plumbfix revealed that 2/3rds of plumbers now use a smartphone on a daily basis.”
