Seeking to honor excellence in diversity and inclusion initiatives on our nation’s campuses, INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine is pleased to announce applications are now available for the second annual Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award. The HEED Award is the only major recognition of its kind.
Open to all U.S. colleges and universities, the HEED Award recognizes an institution’s superior level of achievement and commitment in regard to broadening diversity and inclusion on campus through initiatives and programs; student recruitment, retention, and completion strategies; and faculty and staff hiring and retention practices.
INSIGHT Into Diversity, a highly regarded news and career resource for higher education, has partnered with RPA, Inc., experts in higher education recruiting, to present the HEED Award. Honorees will be featured in the magazine’s November issue and announced at the annual College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA) conference in Las Vegas, Nev., in October.
HEED Award applications are comprehensive, covering all aspects of campus diversity. The deadline to apply is June 15, 2013.
