It is the kind of news everyone in the company loves to hear. Canada's security monitoring leader received confirmation today that SecurTek Videofied helped catch the perpetrator of yet another crime -- the fourth suspect caught in the act so far this year, notes SecurTek Director of Marketing Kristy Cmoc:

"It can sometimes take time after the moment a suspect is caught on camera and suspect identification, leading to charges being laid. But nothing beats knowing that a suspect was arrested as a result of triggering a motion-activated camera that sends a 10-second videoclip to one of our central stations, resulting in quick police response because of that video verification. It's a great feeling for everyone except the person who gets caught, of course."

SecurTek Videofied is one of the latest security monitoring products to hit the Canadian market and it's growing in popularity, especially for instances where location remoteness prevents the use of more conventional video monitoring solutions, Cmoc explains:

"Videofied is short for 'verified video' that is event-based. SecurTek Videofied cameras are battery-operated and communicate wirelessly via GSM or 3G communication. The cameras can be installed anywhere and moved around as needed to monitor sub-stations, construction equipment, farm sites and industrial facilities out in the field."

These discreet surveillance devices can be magnetically attached to any metallic surface, making them all the more effective. They can be placed where thieves least expect them to be found. But when the cameras are coupled with the full array of services central stations like SecurTek's provide, they really can put a stop to crime where and when it occurs, no matter how isolated the setting.

Back at SecurTek, the central station staff can't wait for the next opportunity to catch a thief in the act. There is not better way to let customers know the value of their investment.
