InvoicePrep, which provides invoice preparation services for law firms, today announced that Dean Harring has joined its Thought-Leadership Panel. The Panel advises InvoicePrep on both strategic and tactical issues.
Mr. Harring was most recently Executive Vice President and Chief Claims Officer of QBE’s North American claim operations. Previously, he was EVP, Chief Claims Officer and Chief Operations Officer for GAB Robins North America. Mr. Harring has also served as Chief Claims Officer for CNA Insurance, Zurich North America, and Providence Washington Insurance Company.
“We are very pleased to have Dean join us in advancing the InvoicePrep vision, “says Taylor Smith, chair of the InvoicePrep Thought-Leadership Panel. “Dean has deep experience in managing large panels of law firms, and understands precisely how firms can differentiate themselves through best invoicing practices.”
“I am enthusiastic about joining the InvoicePrep Panel,” says Mr. Harring. “From the first time I was introduced to InvoicePrep’s concepts I knew that this was the right approach for the industry at this time. Addressing increasingly complicated invoicing requirements is certainly a frustration for law firms, but it can become a distraction for clients as well. By enhancing a firm’s ability to create compliant invoices, InvoicePrep helps to advance the client-firm dialogue beyond the invoice and to more important, substantive, and relationship-oriented topics.”
Other members of the InvoicePrep Thought-Leadership Panel are: William Breslin, who previously served as Senior Vice President of Claims for USAA, GE Financial Assurance Holdings and Prudential Insurance; Professor John G. Kelly, a former law professor, applied researcher and thought-leader on law firm practice management issues; Steven Pratt, a former defense attorney and entrepreneur; Michael Saltman, President of Esquire Corporate Solutions and an expert in the management of litigation support vendors; and George Woolverton, co-President of Stockwell, Harris, Woolverton & Muehl.
InvoicePrep helps law firms prepare invoices that meet their clients’ e-billing and litigation management guidelines. When invoices are prepared properly, payment is more prompt and the number of denied charges decreases. InvoicePrep’s system is streamlined, efficient and uses a combination of cutting-edge technology and professionals with extensive legal invoice compliance and e-billing software knowledge.
