YWCA Greater Austin has joined forces with Gift Checks Online (GCO) through the company’s “Gift Back” program. GCO will donate $1 from every Gift Check purchase to the YWCA, to help the organization achieve its current and future goals.

YWCA Greater Austin, an organization that provides, education, counseling and social programs to women and families in need, has joined forces with Gift Checks Online (GCO) through the company’s “Gift Back” program.

GCO will donate $1 from every Gift Check purchase to the YWCA, to help the organization achieve its current and future goals.

“YWCA Greater Austin has an extraordinary legacy of community service and support. They have been helping people since 1885,” said GCO founder Ron Zayas. “We are thrilled to be working with them, and to help them raise much-needed funds in these challenging economic times.”

A Gift Check is a personalized greeting card and a real check in one package for $5.99, which includes shipping. Several event and holiday designs are available. The innovative product was created as a more convenient and preferable option to the use of gift cards, which often go unused by the recipient. Gift Checks purchased by 3pm are processed and mailed the same day. Gift Checks never lose their full value, and each purchase comes with a money-back guarantee.

For every customer that enters the promo code “YWCA1” when ordering, GCO will help YWCA Greater Austin fund a wide range of programs, including prevention services for at-risk girls, mental health counseling and prevention education classes for youth referred by local courts.

Those who wish to participate can visit the GCO site (http://www.giftchecksonline.com) and enter the promo code when prompted.

“In light of these tough times, seizing opportunities like this to creatively raise funds is very much appreciated,” said Diana Gorham, Executive Director of YWCA Greater Austin. “Now, every time someone sends a Gift Check to a friend or family member, we’ll receive additional resources to help some very deserving people in our community.”

The Gift Checks Online website is located at http://www.giftchecksonline.com.
