“Michelle Workman Home” Grants Shoppers Access to Design Treasures of the Elite

On April 10, 2013, acclaimed interior designer Michelle Workman will launch Michelle Workman Home (http://www.michelleworkmanhome.com).

Custom soft furnishings designed by Workman, which were once solely reserved for her celebrity clientele, will now be available for all shoppers with discerning taste. Workman has travelled the world to discover the most unique treasures and estate pieces. A recent favorite, Murano glass, was discovered on a family holiday in Italy. The sojourn gave her unprecedented entry into the shuttered factory of the famed Barbini empire, from which she obtained vintage treasures. Workman will continue to cultivate and curate valued finds to share with shoppers on Michelle Workman Home.

The online move comes as a natural progression for the celebrated designer who is known for her Hollywood-glamour style. After years of designing for the Hollywood elite, Workman will be packing up her family and heading south to Chattanooga, TN, where she will be headquartered as of June 2013.

About Michelle Workman
Workman and her sophisticated interiors have been featured in such publications as Veranda, Traditional Home and InStyle, as well as on HGTV, Martha Stewart and Oprah.

Described by those who know her as an “easygoing perfectionist,” Michelle’s philosophy is that interior design should embody the spirit and architectural style of the individual whose home is being transformed – literally.

Workman’s signature design style is a mingling of modern and vintage sophistication. Michelle freely admits to her bent for the Federal Period, her fondness for Early American décor, and her sincere respect for the French influence on the art of design.
