Our SC3 product suite was developed to fill gaps in the marketplace that our customers have been demanding and provides a uniquely integrated and cost effective platform. - Josh Mann, Aware Digital's CEO
Miami, FL (PRWEB) April 09, 2013
Aware Digital, Inc., a leading surveillance technology company based in Miami, today unveiled its new SC3 technology (Situational Collection, Situational Communication, Situational Control) and its first SC3 product offerings which provide a fully integrated set of technologies for video collection, transmission and management. Designed to raise performance standards and reduce overall size and complexity for end users, the IPVM line of modular surveillance products provides a wide range of remote video and audio capabilities. The core components of this solution include a unique and fully integrated single board solution for secure next generation video routing, encoding and wireless transmission as well as a modular and stackable architecture.
The arrival of the SC3 product suite marks a milestone in video technology advancement. Initially targeted at the Law Enforcement community, the SC3 base station unit features the secure TSOS operating system based on linux, and provides users with a single unit capable of converting any analog or IP camera and microphone into a high performance IP video stream and transmission system with no other external equipment. The single unit includes fully integrated cellular, mesh or wireless capability from a single small form factor and covert footprint. The IPVM units can be stacked together to create a larger multi-channel system, used as a single channel configuration or operate with a wide range of modular add-ons including dynamic mesh capability, analog or digital microwave receiving capability. It can also be paired with a stackable battery pack for portable operation. In addition, all units feature up to two internal 3G/4G cellular modems with support for all major carriers, dual Wi-Fi (wan and AP capable) full GPS, on-board SD card recording and a wide range of law enforcement specific features.
The base units feature an ONVIF compliant h.264 encoder, or can record from industry standard IP cameras, full edge recording features, dynamic VPN capability and the ability to power a camera and microphone directly from the unit. With the microwave or VHF receiving module attached, users can remotely select between inputs for encoding or spot monitoring of analog sources, IP cameras or the signals being received by microwave or VHF, and also remotely tune these receivers.
The IPVM base station unit is the first in a wide line of products that will be coming onto the market from Aware Digital, based on the SC3 product suite and core technologies modules for routing, security, encoding, transmitting and control.
“Our SC3 product suite was developed and targeted to fill gaps in the marketplace that our customers have been demanding and provides uniquely integrated and cost effective platform for developing new applications and for refining and customizing existing ones, states Josh Mann, Aware Digital’s CEO. "In addition, this platform was built with modularity and future expansion in mind. In the coming months we will be releasing a number of other exciting and unique solutions based on the platform.”
