Liseter by Toll Brothers

It’s truly a one-of-a-kind opportunity, and excitement has continued to build since we purchased this historic property.

After much anticipation, Liseter by Toll Brothers, formerly the famed du Pont estate in Newtown Square, is now open for sale to the public. “Liseter is the only master-planned community in the area with a rich history, classic main line architecture, and on-site amenities,” said Brian Thierrin, Toll Brothers’ vice president. “It’s truly a one-of-a-kind opportunity, and excitement has continued to build since we purchased this historic property.” The 400-acre estate is being transformed into an elegant master-planned community boasting six collections of carriage and single-family homes – creating a diverse and dynamic neighborhood in an ideal location.

The master plan will be sold in sections, and The Bryn Mawr Collection is now open. This collection features single-family estate homes on 1/3+ acre home sites. Five spacious home designs are offered, ranging in size from 3,500 to over 4,300 square feet. Pricing starts in the $700,000s. All homes in the Bryn Mawr Collection will offer impressive gourmet kitchens with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, Andersen® windows, hardwood flooring, spacious master bedroom suites, and a 3-car garage.

Future offerings will include both attached and detached product. Single-family home collections include the Merion Collection (offering 3,000 to 3,600 square feet) and the Villanova Collection (signature homes ranging in size from 4,000 to 5,000 square feet on the largest home sites within Liseter). Carriage home product includes the Devon Collection (traditional 2,400 to 2,685 square-foot front-entry carriage homes), the Newtown Collection (2,700 to 3,250 square-foot rear-entry carriage homes), and the St. David’s Collection (twin-style front- and rear-entry carriage homes ranging from 3,000 to 3,500 square-feet).

Liseter will offer its residents a unique array of amenities. An existing 9,000 square-foot historically preserved barn is being completely restored and refurbished as the community’s clubhouse. Residents will also enjoy a swimming pool, tennis courts, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and walking trails.

The landscape at Liseter is picturesque, with its rolling terrain, thick woods, and meandering creeks. The community borders the 123-acre campus of Episcopal Academy, which has been consistently ranked as one of the top private schools in the country, and is just across the street from Aronimink Golf Club. And, while Liseter offers a decidedly secluded and serene setting, it is very close and convenient to all that the Main Line has to offer, including the best private schools in the area, a vast variety of shopping venues, and fabulous medical care. SAP America, Inc. headquarters is less than 5 minutes from the community; the corporate centers of King of Prussia and Great Valley are 20 minutes away; and commuting by train to Philadelphia is easy on SEPTA’s 30-minute service from the Paoli station, just 5 minutes away.
