Just like the Yankees’ second baseman Robinson Cano, Giants star Victor Cruz may soon be signing with Jay-Z’s new sports agency. Cruz is now expected to be the next high profile athlete to be represented under this agency. He is now a restricted free agent, as he fired former agent Malik Shareef last month. After choosing to fire Shareef, Cruz signed with CAA’s Tom Condon. Condon is known to be one of the most powerful agents in the NFL. The main reason for the switch was the amount of time it took to negotiate a contract, which never came close to a deal. It has been mentioned that Cruz will still use Condon as his agent, and Jay-Z will handle any other business related activities.(http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000156662/article/will-victor-cruz-of-new-york-giants-join-jayzs-agency)
