In order for security to take precedence, we need to disrupt current practices and replace with proven real-world methods of mobile and wireless security.

Enterprise mobility is taking over. With BYOD and a surplus of mobile capabilities available to users, enterprises across the world are struggling with security. Indoor locationing is quickly becoming a hot industry idea, but it doesn’t solve everything. Mobile security expert and technology executive Cleve Adams will discuss these ideas at the CyBit Show May 9 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center of New York (655 West 34th Street, New York).

Mobile security is estimated to be a $1.88 billion market by the end of this year, according to ABI Research. With so much competition in the mobile security marketplace, enterprises need to focus on policies and the bigger picture such as user role, location, and context.

“We’re living in Mobile 3.0 and enterprise security needs to catch-up,” Cleve Adams, CEO stated. “In order for security to take precedence, we need to disrupt current practices and replace with proven real-world methods of mobile and wireless security.”

Also, speaking at the conference on the new Cybersecurity Executive Order is AirPatrol Corporation’s Advisory Board member, Richard H.L. Marshall, Esq., former National Security Agency (NSA) and National Cyber Security Division at Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Marshall is currently CEO at Whitenoise Laboratories.
