Hypnotherapy can help change a clients approach and habits towards eating and as a result help them re-align their weight.

According to Agro Food Planet, mindless eating leads to around 43 percent of over consumption in the United Kingdom. The study revealed that the average Briton ate 1,270kg of food a year which equates to 384kg more food than the body needed. Over eating is said to be due to mindless eating where people made 220 decisions about food and drink decisions every day, yet were only aware of about 15. Findings indicated that as a nation we ate nearly four times the recommended amount of meat each week and three times as many biscuits and cakes, yet 69 percent less fruit and 75 percent less vegetables than experts recommend.
Whilst the National Health Service and other weight loss organisations are doing their upmost to tackle the obesity crisis in the UK, some could benefit from the use of complementary therapies such as hypnotherapy. The National Council for Hypnotherapy is the UK’s most established hypnotherapy directory offering members of the public a chance to contact hypnotherapists in the local area qualified to help them with a range of issues including weight loss, stopping smoking and phobias.
A representative from the council explained, ‘Hypnotherapy can help change a clients approach and habits towards eating and as a result help them re-align their weight. The techniques can be applied to anyone who is willing and open minded to making a change to their life via a fresh approach.’
The National Council for Hypnotherapy continues to follow health related news.
