Analysts are optimistic about the future of the Middle East, in particular, Bahrain – with Mackenzie Jones preparing for an increase in job applicants.
As a recruitment consultancy specialising in employment opportunities across the Middle East, Mackenzie Jones has been monitoring the activity of the job market within the UAE in a bid to spot any potential developments as well as create opportunities for both its clients and candidates.
David Mackenzie of Mackenzie Jones said: “From what we’ve been seeing over the past couple of years, we strongly believe that Dubai is exiting an 18 month corporate consolidation phase – which has balanced supply and demand in the job market. Salaries, as a result, remain steady but on the increase with caution.”
Experts forecast the economy to grow by more than 5 per cent this year – making it the strongest and fastest it’s been compared to other parts of the GCC. Bahrain’s strong links with neighbouring countries has also contributed to its success, with an increased number of visitors both through the airport and the King Fahd Causeway – which connects Bahrain with Saudi Arabia.
“Ultimately, the job market is more comfortable in its own skin,” added Mackenzie. “Findings suggest Saudi and Qatar will do well to control their planned growth over the next decade.
“This must happen if they are to avoid runaway salary levels.”
Working with a number of nationalities from all over the world has made Mackenzie Jones experts in international recruitment. From providing HR jobs to vacancies within the financial sector, Mackenzie Jones comprises a diverse mix of industry-specific expertise with managerial experience to ensure candidates are correctly matched to their career choices.
