The Michigan Seniors Expo helps connect Baby Boomers, Seniors and Caregivers with organizations that can make their lives better. There will be plenty of giveaways and prizes, too.

The 2013 Michigan Seniors & Caregivers Expo will be at Lakeside Mall on Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 10am to 5pm. The Expo will feature more than fifty exhibitors; plus, there will be special presentations on the “Seniors Learning Stage” from leading experts covering a variety of the most popular topics effecting Seniors and Caregivers, including; Oncology, Alzheimer’s Information, Financial Planning Advice, Medicare Information, Senior Living Options, Legal Advice, Veteran’s Benefits, Home Care Options, Available Community Services and much more.

The Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute will be providing free cancer screenings.

As the largest segment of metro Detroit's Adult population continues to age, questions regarding housing issues, financial security, home care and health insurance are on the minds of many seniors, families and healthcare professionals. The Michigan Seniors Expo helps connect baby-boomers, seniors and caregivers with organizations that can make their lives better. There will be plenty of giveaways and prizes, too.

Lakeside Mall is located at 14000 Lakeside Circle, Sterling Heights, MI 48313 at the corner of Hall Road (M-59) and Schoennher Road. The Expo will run from 10am to 5pm. Admission is free.
