Beginning with the old 1950’s inner city warehouse/office they fully restored; instead of building a new facility outside of town, HomeWetBar has taken significant steps toward environmentally friendly goals. The new renovated facility boasts a recycling program consisting of dedicated bins throughout the premises to catch bottles, cans, paper, and even printer cartridges. Shipping materials not able to be reused get held in two dedicated dumpsters before being recycled. The new space also features abundant natural sunlight provided by large banks of windows, not only boosting employee morale, but cutting energy consumption as well. On another front, has taken operations digital, using cloud based document sharing as well as email and chat communications as a measure against landfill waste formerly generated by interoffice memos. Just beginning its green initiatives, is continually looking for ways to be more environmentally friendly.
