Our residents were quite excited to talk to the reporter about their experience at Vi.

The Vi at Silverstone campus in Scottsdale, Ariz. was recently part of a spotlight in a The Wall Street Journal article on high end senior living. The community was featured alongside several other senior living options across the country, including one in the heart of New York City, and another in Calif. that is still in the building phase.
“It was great fun touring with the photography team and watching their jaws drop as we moved around the property,” said Kim Bankofier, Community Relations Manager for Vi at Silverstone. “From the three gorgeous dining venues, to the theatre, to the indoor pool – this was not at all what they expected to find at a ‘retirement’ community.”
Bankofier spent the better part of a day with the photographer who photographed Vi at Silverstone for The Wall Street Journal. The reporter for the article, Dawn Wotapka, spoke to several Vi residents to get their feedback on why they decided on the Vi CCRC model for their retirement.
Genie Heer, Sales Director for Vi at Silverstone, said residents were thrilled to have the opportunity to talk to someone from the well-known publication.
“Our residents were quite excited to talk to the reporter about their experience at Vi and how they made the decision to move to Vi at Silverstone,” said Heer. “They are proud to live here and wanted to encourage others to learn more about what a CCRC offers to help them make the same decision they did.”
Vi at Silverstone is the newest Vi community having opened its doors in late 2010. Located in north Scottsdale, the community boasts an 18-hole putting course, an indoor and outdoor salt-filtered pool, top-notch dining and an on-site care center.
In addition to the recent press from The Wall Street Journal, Vi at Silverstone has also been named among the Top 5 Independent and Assisted Living communities by Ranking Arizona, who presents a list of the best of Arizona businesses in its annual opinion poll.
