The Visual Communication Industry Group will host the next VCIG-Live event on Thursday, April 18th, 2013 at 1:00 PM ET. This session will review the new products, market trends and new service for 2013. “This is a session about what our members and videoconferencing and collaboration users everywhere should be watching for in 2013”, said Todd Hughes, Vice President of the VCI-Group. The panelists for this session include, Howard Lichtman Human Productivity Lab Founder and President, Eric Krapf UBM TechWeb Editor, Ira Weinstein Wainhouse Research Senior Analyst and Partner. Industry veteran JD Vaughn will moderate the session as the panel reviews market trends from analysts and recent product and service announcements from key industry vendors. “We will be exploring topics such as WebRTC, “said J D Vaughn, chairman of the VCI-Group Advisory Council. “Not just the impact of videoconferencing and real time communications using a web browser, but the impact of this development because we now have hundreds of millions of new users. We will explore cloud services, Unified Communications, and the impact of 1000% growth.”
This session will help users discover what’s hot and what’s new in the visual communications and UC space. This session will also focus on current and expected industry trends related to key topics including hardware and software video endpoints, mobile video, and managed services. This session is produced by the VCI-Group Education Committee and will be a live videoconferencing interactive and streaming event. VCIG Live! virtual sessions are designed to educate our community on a variety of topics related to visual communications strategy, operations, technology, and more. Some of our sessions are also geared toward topics of interest to our Special Interest Groups (SIGs) for education, health care, and other.
