fun training experience for both dogs and owners.

Melody of Melody's Dog Training has seen a great deal of change over the last twenty years or so. Dog training has gone from harsh methods using choke chains, jerking, and shouting out "commands", to reward based training, clickers, and using "cues". Positive-method trainers like her are just as happy as dog owners that their furry companions can now be lovingly taught good behavior. It's more fun for dog owners and a lot more fun for dogs!

And the changes keep happening. There is a new type of training delivery that is changing the face of dog training; face-to-face internet calling for dog training. Yep, training has finally hit the 21st Century.

Because of the sky-rocketing price of gasoline, one-on-one, in-home training has risen in price; sometimes beyond the reach of the average dog owner. The shame of it is that many dogs are being given up due to problem behaviors that can be easily dealt with by simple training methods.

That’s the reason Melody's Dog Training has begun offering online training over any free face-to-face internet calling available. The 7-week course will include a rigorous, fun training experience for both dogs and owners. The training is in their homes where both handler and dog will be more comfortable learning new behaviors before tackling the outside world.
