William Mattar, personal injury attorney and founder of The Law Offices of William Mattar, has worked with a variety of community wellness programs and safety initiatives over the years. This April, Mattar is partnering with The Vigilance Group to provide a unique women’s awareness and self defense seminar. Passionate about women’s safety issues, Mattar will provide this training free to the women of Buffalo.

The seminar will be held at The University at Buffalo’s Student Union Room 330 on April 17th, from 6-8 PM. It will equip women with the means to successfully recognize and respond to situations that could result in deadly outcomes. It will teach women of all walks of life a variety of ways to neutralize violent situations and find space and separation.

Mattar is working with the Vigilance Group’s founder, Lieutenant Colonel Michael “Moose” Moore, who has taught thousands of women these life-saving techniques. Together, Mattar and Moore are providing an exclusive and valuable training to the women of Buffalo at no cost for attendance.
