Merlot Marketing, a full-service branding agency based in Sacramento, was recently honored at two industry award ceremonies. The firm took home a silver award at the 2013 ADDY Awards (ADDYs), hosted by the Sacramento Ad Club, along with one silver and two bronze awards at the 2013 CAPPIE Awards (CAPPIES), presented by the Sacramento Public Relations Association (SPRA).
The ADDYs is an annual event designed to recognize organizations that develop the region’s most strategic and creative advertising campaigns. Merlot Marketing’s silver ADDY award was in the print advertising category for its “Americans Against Water Torture” ad developed for Madsen Roofing & Waterproofing, Inc.
The CAPPIES is an annual awards event celebrating the region’s outstanding public relations and communications programs. Merlot Marketing won a silver CAPPIE award in the social media campaign category for its national luxury stone and tile client, Walker Zanger. The agency also won two bronze CAPPIES for its social media campaign for local agricultural organization, PlacerGROWN and for its national public relations program for architectural stone veneer client, Eldorado Stone.
“I am proud of the creative work our team continues to produce,” said Debi Hammond, Founder and CEO of Merlot Marketing. “It’s an honor to be awarded for our work both locally with Madsen and PlacerGROWN, as well as nationally with Walker Zanger and Eldorado Stone.”
With clientele spanning from coast to coast, Merlot Marketing represents companies in a variety of categories including high-end home products, financial institutions, agricultural brands and restaurants.
