Two men have lost their jobs and been ordered to complete community service after they were caught stealing from a textile reclaiming business in the Black Country.
According to the Express & Star, the pair were caught on a CCTV security system by the works manager stealing four bags of clothes from the conveyor belt, worth £2,400 and normally sold abroad at a rate of £6 per 1kg. The clothes were destined to be shipped to Africa and Eastern Europe from Bliston.
According to the article, the items were loaded into a van and taken back to one of the individual’s homes, the pair have been charged with two counts of theft.
