The Esophageal Cancer Awareness Association (ECAA) and Shareindipity are teaming up to increase awareness, educate and raise funds to combat one of the fastest growing and deadly forms of cancer.

The Esophageal Cancer Awareness Association (ECAA) and Shareindipity are teaming up to increase awareness, educate and raise funds to combat one of the fastest growing and deadly forms of cancer. In support of the ECAA’s mission to provide outreach for esophageal cancer patients, caregivers, and survivors, to increase public awareness of this disease and to offer education and information in a supportive environment, Shareindipity will donate 10% of revenues from a line of Esophageal cancer awareness bracelets to the ECAA.

According to SEER, It is estimated that 17,460 men and women will be diagnosed with and 15,070 men and women will die of cancer of the esophagus in 2012. “Prevention, as in most diseases, is essential in lowering the mortality of incidence of Esophageal cancer,” said Brian Galgay, President, ECAA. “We believe education and awareness are key to prevention, as such, we welcome Shareindipity on expanding our reach and extending our support to patients, caregivers and survivors. Together, I think we can make a great impact.” he continued.
