To get more from their Perceptive Software process and content management solutions, many organizations need additional IT professional services. To meet this need, leading provider Shamrock Solutions has extended its range of custom electronic forms (eforms), portal and script development offerings.

Shamrock is helping organizations in higher education, healthcare, government, retail, insurance, banking services and many other industries to deploy and extend Perceptive Content and other Perceptive solutions. With these new services, clients can improve performance monitoring, make information more readily available to customers, employees and partners and drive faster processes with e-forms.

The first of the new offerings, which can be applied to human resources (HR), finance and any other department across the enterprise, involves developing custom scripts that give companies deeper insight into the performance of their Perceptive solution.

For example, a system administrator can now see how many users are logged into the system at any time and can then determine if more product licenses are needed or will be required in the near future. The scripts enable authorized users to keep performance report histories and to export these via CSV files. They can also view performance metrics via easy-to-read graphical displays.

In addition, Shamrock is developing new and improved portal environments. One recent use case at a university enabled students to log into an online portal to see if they needed to send in additional documents to support their admissions and aid applications. Once submitted, these forms are sent directly into Perceptive Process queues for immediate action by application readers/evaluators. This anywhere, anytime information access improved student service and reduced the number of inquiries for the admissions and financial aid teams to respond to, allowing them to stay on-task during the peak time before the application deadline.

Other customers are using Shamrock’s newly expanded services to develop and deploy eforms. Several organizations have enabled users to fill in online expense reports with these. When submitted, the forms trigger new workflows in the Perceptive system. Staff members who have submitted expense reports and attached receipts can view the status of their reimbursements in real time via an online portal.
