"I cannot wait to join the talented dancers and instructors from The Belly Dance Studio in Beaumont." -International star, Princess Farhana

The Belly Dance Studio of Beaumont is bringing a world famous belly dancer to the stage of Courville’s in Beaumont, Tx. On April 20, alongside talented local and regional belly dancers, Princess Farhana will showcase true Middle Eastern dance with a meal to match.

“You could say Courville’s is better known for country stars than belly dancers,” said Rich Courville, owner of Big Rich Courville’s out on Highway 90. “But I’m very excited to see these talented ladies and I know the audience will enjoy the show.”

The show at Big Rich Courville’s will be unlike any belly dance show Southeast Texans have ever seen. In addition to Princess Farhana, featured performers will include The Belly Dance Studio’s own Dilara Sultan, who splits her time between Turkey and Southeast Texas, as well as a cast of belly dancers from throughout the Southwest region. Audience members may even be surprised to see more than a few familiar faces under the spotlight.

Known for her exquisite technique-- including her mind-boggling abdominal work and skills with balanced props-- Princess Farhana brings dramatic stage presence and theatrical flair to every performance. In addition to being an Egyptian-trained belly dancer, she is also a high-concept fusion performer, and travels constantly, performing and teaching workshops all over the globe.

Princess Farhana has performed at public events all around the world, as well as in private events for celebrities and dignitaries such as former First Lady Hilary Clinton, The Saudi Arabian Royal Family, and The Rolling Stones. From 2006-2008 was the principal dancer in comedian Margaret Cho’s touring variety show, “The Sensuous Woman”.

Tickets are $40 and include a Middle Eastern style meal, which you can enjoy while witnessing the rhythms and traditional dances of Egypt, Turkey and more! It will be a show you don't want to miss.
