Specialty sofa-bed retailer forms new group dedicated to the hotel and lodging facility industry.

Sleepers In Seattle announced today the formation of a new Contract & Hospitality Division as an extension of their brand.

Sleeper sofas are a common fixture in lodging facilities, as they increase the sleeping capacity of a room without creating a concern with space. As the mechanics and quality of sofa beds have evolved in the past decade, Sleepers In Seattle (Sleepers) has become a well-known source in the residential market.

Vice President Max Alcabes, who will oversee the new division, reiterated that “with a sleeper sofa, two more guests can be accommodated. Our products provide all the comfort of a regular couch, with the convenience of a bed inside. Nothing to lose.”

Sleepers boasts a tagline of “More Sleeper Sofas Than Anywhere Else”—and at last count, over 390 sleeper styles were available, all customizable in a customer’s choice of upholstery, mattress, and more. The new division will be offering as many options for contract sales as are offered for residential. Located in an office adjacent to the retail showroom, a team of industry experts will focus on serving the needs of the expanding market.

Alongside their position in the single-family home market, Sleepers has outfitted guest rooms across the United States, as well as in Canada and in the Caribbean. Dick Hansen, General Manager of Orcas Suites at Rosario, is one of the happy customers. “I have found many that are stylish and even some that are comfortable while sitting, but this is the first one that meets those needs and provides adequate support for a decent night’s sleep. Again, thank you.”
