Being able to meet face-to-face and see the excitement in the candidates’ eyes as they talk about what they want to do with their careers is really contagious…we love it!
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (PRWEB) April 16, 2013
PediaStaff, a nationwide staffing company that focuses on the placement of pediatric and school-based clinicians, has announced that they will have a booth at The American Occupational Therapy Association’s (AOTA) 93rd Annual Conference & Expo. The conference will be held from April 24-28 at the San Diego Convention Center.
PediaStaff will be stationed at booth #1022 in the main exhibition hall. Approximately 4,000 therapists are expected to attend the conference. PediaStaff is expecting at least 1,000 of them to visit their booth, where the firm’s recruiters will discuss how they can help attendees find occupational therapy jobs, according to the firm’s Vice President of Recruitment Keith Adams.
“Exhibiting at the AOTA conference is something that we look forward to each year,” Adams said. “The PediaStaff booth gives all of our recruiters a central place to be able to visit with potential new hires and learn a little more about what type of setting is most important in terms of their job search. Being able to meet face-to-face and see the excitement in the candidates’ eyes as they talk about what they want to do with their careers is really contagious…we love it!”
PediaStaff has the ability to place occupational therapists in both direct and contract positions in a variety of settings nationwide, including school systems, hospitals, clinics, and home health. PediaStaff’s contractors, who are placed through the back-office services of Top Echelon Contracting, have access to Unemployment and Workers’ Compensation Coverage, a weekly paycheck with the option of direct deposit, and a full menu of benefits, including healthcare coverage through Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
An added draw to PediaStaff’s booth this year will be the presence of Blue Orange Games. The educational board game company will be a guest at the booth, giving away free games every hour in addition to providing free game demonstrations and promo items as they discuss how occupational therapists can use game play in their sessions.
“Blue Orange’s educational games are compact and perfect for therapists who are always on the move and don't usually have classrooms of their own,” said Heidi Kay, Senior Partner and co-founder of PediaStaff. “The games are easily adaptable for kids with special needs and are fun for neurotypical family members. The price is right too, so parents can carry over work at home, and they’re affordable for schools with limited budgets. I think the OT’s visiting our booth will be very interested to see how they can use their games to advance therapy goals.”
Established in 2004, PediaStaff is a nationwide, niche-oriented staffing company focusing on the placement and staffing of pediatric therapists. In addition to occupational therapists, the firm places pediatric speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, and school psychologists. They are also known for their social media presence, which includes extensive Twitter and Pinterest profiles.
