MWTI, LLC. http://mwtillc.com/products/firewalls announced it has placed its new modular fire wall into production; this partition system is available in 1-hour, 2-hour and 3-hour ratings.

The one hour modular fire rated partition is 4” thick with 20 or 22 gauge Stucco embossed steel interior and exterior skins with a structural mineral wool core.

The two hour modular fire rated partition is 5” thick sandwich style construction, with 20 or 22 gauge stucco embossed steel interior and exterior skins with a structural mineral wool core. The one hour modular fire rated partition is 4” thick sandwich style construction, with 20 or 22 gauge.

The three hour modular fire rated partition is 7” thick sandwich style construction, with 20 or 22 gauge stucco embossed steel interior and exterior skins with a structural mineral wool core.

All three panel systems are for interior or exterior use. All panels have been tested and approved by United Laboratories UL, Omega Test point Labs, and Factory Mutual; they are approved to unlimited height and come in an array of attractive colors. The panels can be used as a floor to ceiling partition system or fabricated into a fire rated building using the same panels for walls and roof, thus giving a true and complete fire rated structure.

The advantages to The MWTI, LLC fire rated system is the fact that it is modular which could give significant tax advantages over conventional construction, the system can be moved and relocated without waste, the construction time is much less with fewer workers and little or no environmental issues.
