The lawyer’s previous experience allows him to provide his clients with a unique advantage in their defense. He is a former prosecutor for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, where he was promoted to Chief Prosecutor of County Criminal Court at Law #6. During his time with the District Attorney’s Office, he had the opportunity to handle thousands of criminal cases throughout Harris County and to train other newly hired prosecuting attorneys. Attorney Khawaja, who is originally from Houston, received his bachelor’s degree with magna cum laude honors from the University of St. Thomas in 2000 and his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center in 2004.
