Montgomery Educational Consulting's Sara Zessar will give a free presentation on college admissions on Sunday, April 21.

With over 4,000 colleges in the U.S. and media coverage that highlights the competitive nature of college admissions, students and parents often feel very overwhelmed by the college search and application process.

On Sunday, April 21, Montgomery Educational Consulting's Sara Zessar will offer a free informational program entitled, "The College Admissions Process: Where Do I Start?" The program will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center's South Denver location, 9625 E. Arapahoe Road, Greenwood Village, CO 80112. It is open to the public and is intended for parents and students in grades 8-11.

"My presentation is designed to provide students with the information they need to begin their college search, as well as to help ease students' and parents' stress."

Ms. Zessar's presentation will address the following topics:

  •     factors students should consider in their college search
  • finding a college that's a good "fit"
  • what colleges look for in applicants
