Auto & Powersports Ad Network Extends Vehicle Focus to Include Boating Websites

The Digital Throttle vertical ad network today launched a new division to reach boating enthusiasts. This new audience compliments the network’s core focus on reaching automotive enthusiasts, motorsports racers and powersports riders through focused online advertising.

Joining Digital Throttle as President of the Marine Group is Vicki Newton, a lifelong boating enthusiast, former competitive water skier at San Diego State University, PWC endurance racer and licensed USCG captain.

The bulk of Newton’s advertising career was at Powerboat Magazine where she spent 14 years and ultimately became the publisher. During her tenure at the magazine she was also a member of the test team, testing more than 500 boats and appearing on 50+ magazine covers.

Commenting on her new role, Newton said, “The media landscape has changed dramatically since I started in this industry.
