Boston, MA (PRWEB) April 15, 2013
An alleged drug distributor was found not guilty of drug trafficking charges after a three-day trial (Suffolk Superior Court, Case# 2010-11121). According to court documents, prosecutors accused the suspect of selling 56 grams of cocaine to a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) confidential source outside of a restaurant in Dorchester, Boston.
The trail ended when the Boston jury decided that the suspect was not guilty – even though a police detective allegedly witnessed the crime, court documents indicated. The suspect faced a mandatory minimum of five years in prison, if he/she was convicted of trafficking drugs.
