Key Technical Solutions (KTS), Headquartered in Milwaukee, WI, has recently announced the opening of additional offices to offer advanced staffing and engineering support to current clients and engineering/ manufacturing firms across the US, with renewed plans to expand its footprint in the Electric Power & Utilities Industry, IT Consulting Services, and Specialty/ Heavy Machinery industries, among others. This growth will enhance Off-Site Engineering operations and capabilities, as well as Technical Staffing operations. For some time now, there has been a talent shortage felt by many manufacturing firms, and with this shortage comes the additional needs for companies to seek outside resources to augment their staff through short or long-term staffing solutions, or the utilization of outside engineering resources due to the lack of specialized knowledge, or even office space. It is Key’s goal to be able to offer staffing and off-site engineering support to these firms; this will now be possible through Key’s expansion and additional support in staffing and off-site engineering. With the opening of new offices, KTS has also hired additional staff capable of supporting increasing workloads.

“We are extremely excited to be able to increase our off-site Engineering Service capabilities to support our current clients, as well as create the necessary infrastructure to support additional clients, with a renewed emphasis on Engineering & Electric Utilities staffing and off-site Engineering, as well as a focus on our IT Consulting practice” stated Mike Ruane, Account Manager for Key Technical Solutions. Key’s recent growth has been fueled by their third straight award for being one of the fastest growing companies in South Eastern, WI, as well as their most recent award called the ‘Fast 5,’ which recognizes Key as one of the five (5) fastest growing firms in South Eastern WI – these awards have been provided by the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC).

“We feel that we will be able to handle any engineering-focused client request at Key’s facilities while continuing to provide solid staffing services – whether locally or nationally” commented Kermit Kapp, a Sr. Recruiter with KTS. Added Kapp, “this is an exciting time for clients of Key Technical Solutions, as well as our employees, as this will provide us with the ability to provide additional services requested by our client-base.” Key supports clients in a variety of industries with a strong focus in a variety of machinery, Electric Power Utilities (substation design, construction and as-built drawings, etc.), and Power Distribution Services. Key also provides IT Consulting Services including Network Infrastructure, Security Services, and other client-driven solutions. “Adding new offices also adds additional resources, and I really feel we’re in a unique position to support our existing clients, but also expand our footprint now that we have the increased capabilities to manage new clients – we also have the ability to tailor off-site engineering and IT Consulting programs for clients, as well as put KTS employees at client sites, something I think will benefit clients greatly” maintained Dan Arps, Technology Director at KTS. “I only see us growing from here, and each new client presents an opportunity to show our expertise and commitment to customer satisfaction,” said Bob Rowe, Operations Manager.
