By creating a new game within the game, the free Baseball Snotzee iPhone app keeps televised games riveting, and even gets non-fans into the action.

Baseball MLB scorekeeping game

With the Snotzee app, one person can keep score for up to four players or teams watching the game.

When it’s a slow game or a blowout, this app is the ticket for keeping it interesting.

When the televised baseball game is slow or some of the viewers aren’t fans, Baseball Snotzee might be the ticket for getting everyone into the game. The new iPhone app from The Slocum Group is designed to make any televised MLB entertaining, no interest in the teams playing – or even the sport itself –required.

Each viewer takes a five-minute turn, and scores points every time any baseball player is seen spitting, adjusting his jock or launching a snot rocket. The app, which iTunes has rated 9+, includes a timer and six scoring buttons.

A different sound effect for each score lets everyone know what the scorekeeper is doing. Only one person needs the app to keep score for up to four players or teams.

“Baseball Snotzee creates a game within the game,” says co-developer Russ Slocum. “When it’s a slow game or a blowout, this app is the ticket for keeping it interesting.”

Baseball Snotzee is a free download for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
