Eating a diet that contains a lot of fried and processed foods, sweets and high-fat dairy has long been touted as unhealthy. But, recent research reveals that looking at the situation holistically may be the key to helping people grow old in an “ideal” fashion, suggesting that appetite suppressants and weight loss supplements like Prescopodene may actually promote graceful aging.
In the May, 2013 edition of The American Journal of Medicine, a study was published in which 5,350 adults around the age of 51 were assessed based upon their dietary patterns; specifically, their adherence to the Alternative Healthy Eating Index (AHEI). Then, they were followed for 16 years to see how well they aged.
What they found is that the more the individuals ate a “Western-type” diet, which consists of high fat and high processed foods, the worse they aged. These individuals had higher rates of both cardiovascular and non-cardiovascular deaths, regardless of any other health issues they had otherwise.
Researchers contend that this means that instead of focusing only on one or two areas in a person’s diet when you’re looking at aging and mortality, it may be better to focus on healthy eating overall. It’s the idea of looking at the big picture versus breaking diet down bit by bit. This suggests that weight loss supplements such as Prescopodene may help increase overall health levels and, subsequently, improve the aging process.
Prescopodene is natural weight loss supplement that helps individuals control their appetite, which results in choosing more nutritious food options and losing excess weight – both of which appear to be detrimental to growing old in the best possible fashion.
