On April 24th, a percent of all proceeds at Patxi's Pizza Hayes Valley will go directly to support UniversalGiving’s work.

Patxi’s Pizza has chosen UniversalGiving™ as a recipient in their 52 Weeks of Giving Campaign. This program supports Bay Area nonprofits by donating a percentage of proceeds from one of Patxi’s restaurants on a selected day.

UniversalGiving is an award-winning nonprofit that helps people give and volunteer with top-performing organizations all over the world. All projects are vetted through UniversalGiving's trademarked, proprietary Quality Model.™ 100% of each donation goes directly to the cause.

UniversalGiving is partnering with Patxi’s Hayes Valley in San Francisco. On April 24th, a percent of all proceeds at the Hayes Valley location will go directly to support UniversalGiving’s work. This generous campaign applies to eat-in, take-out, and delivery orders.

UniversalGiving is encouraging their supporters to enjoy pizza on April 24th. Take-out can be ordered in advance, and anyone who shares about Patxi’s on Twitter can receive a free soda or $1 PBR beer.

The donation to UniversalGiving will support their vision to “Create a World Where Giving and Volunteering Are a Natural Part of Everyday Life.”

Background on Patxi’s Pizza

Patxi’s Pizza has nine locations in California and Colorado. The restaurant chain was founded in 2004 by Bill Freeman and Francisco “Patxi” Azpiroz. They focus on deep dish pizza and hospitality. The 52 Weeks of Giving Campaign supports a different Bay Area nonprofit each week, throughout the entire year. More than $200,000 has been given through the program.
