Salespod, Inc., the maker of the field sales and retail merchandising automation tool Salespod, announced today that it has completed a major upgrade of its cloud based server infrastructure. The new infrastructure is located in a secure, state-of-art Data Center in Washington D.C., and radically expands Salespod’s capacity for processing and storing field sales, merchandising and marketing activity information. The number of servers has been doubled, and the configuration has been optimized for a heavy load of streamlined events. Transaction growth has accelerated significantly since the company released a new version of its core product late last year, which targets Small and Mid-sized Business(SMBs) looking to manage outside sales and marketing teams.
