FluentStream will continue to support older models of Polycom equipment; however, new customers and customers looking to upgrade will have the benefit of the Polycom 300 and 400 series. FluentStream’s agility as a company makes this swift move in the market possible.
FluentStream Technologies prides itself on being a leader in business phone solutions and realizes the potential with the new Polycom® VVX® 300/400 phone series. The VVX® product line is a series of groundbreaking Business Media Phones with multiple beneficial features that traditional phone systems do not possess.
The newest releases to this series are the 300/310 models and the 400/410 models. The 300/310 models offer a backlit grayscale graphical LCD with six programmable line keys while the 400/410 models offer a color LCD with twelve programmable line keys. The 300 and 400 models offer 100 megabytes through the PC port while the 310 and 410 models offer 1000 megabytes.
The brand new phone series includes a built-in Web browser that will allow third-party developers to integrate the Polycom® VVX® solutions with their own business applications. This means that FluentStream Technologies has the ability to create and improve its product for their customers by adding beneficial applications to the Polycom® VVX® phones. Currently, applications are being created from SMS applications to a "call parking lot" feature.
The Business Media Phones also offer Zero Touch Provisioning, enabling simple deployment and management of Polycom VoIP products through its cloud-based solution.
“This allows us to bring new customers onto our platform more quickly,” said FluentStream’s Director of Customer Experience Doug Aumont. “It’s a feature we’re excited to use.”
Another beneficial feature is the Polycom HD Voice technology, which delivers twice the clarity of ordinary phone calls. This allows for better voice quality and crisp, clear calls.
The user interface is intuitive and easy to use as well, maximizing productivity, as consumers will instinctively understand the phones interface.
The VVX 300/400 Business Media Phones are at price points comparable to the older series of phones on the market. The Business Media phones are now available on FluentStream’s hosted VoIP platform and can be purchased through FluentStream.
“We already have new customers ready to be installed with the new 300/400 series,” said FluentStream’s Director of Business Development Josh Ellis.
FluentStream’s switch is not only beneficial for the company but also beneficial for it’s customers. New applications will be created along with updated features because of this state-of-the-art phone system. Progress is an integral part of technology and FluentStream is progressing forward.
